Project dependencies

Link projects together with dependency relationships so that changes to one project automatically affect its dependents. When you move a project's end date forward, all downstream projects shift accordingly.

How it works

Dependencies use a Finish-to-Start model: Project B cannot start until Project A finishes. When you drag Project A's end date on the Gantt chart, Project B and any further downstream projects cascade forward automatically. A visual connector line on the Gantt shows which projects are linked.

Why this matters

Teams managing sequential work — like discovery → design → development — currently have to manually adjust every downstream project when timelines shift. Dependencies eliminate that manual work and prevent scheduling conflicts.
